Macmillan Education Iberia’s collaboration with Orange about safe use of ICT

As part of Macmillan Education Iberia´s collaboration with Orange to promote policies for safe and responsible use of ICT in educational institutions, a competition was launched to understand firsthand how teachers feel about this current issue and to collect suggestions for how they would broadcast this initiative further.

The judges met on the 11th March to assess the ideas in each of the 1100 entries, and decided to award the first place prize, a Huawei P8 max phablet, to María Eugenia Perez from CEIP Chayofa in the Canary Islands. In this photo, Vanessa Sosa, a member of the Macmillan Sales team, awards the prize.

Second place went to Manuel Moreno, from FP Rumasa in Jerez de la Frontera, in the photo Manuel poses with Joaquina Cano from the Andalusian office, and third place to Maribel Sala from the Escola Agraria del Pallars school in Catalonia.

Macmillan Education Iberia and Orange would like to thank all the participants for their contribution to this corporate social responsibility project about safe use of ICT by kids and teenagers. We recommend visiting the educational platform EducaInternet, which offers a range of resources as well as tools that allow teachers and students to create content and upload it to the site.
